Joining the project from the beginning, I took the Android prototype and created and maintained the Wuntu app for iOS. Working closely with designers, programmers and QA, the team grew as we reached 1 million customers. In this role, I acted as a subject matter expert and enjoyed the process of communicating with the client effectively and efficiently.
At Blue Beck we created games for a variety of clients, including the Idaho Lottery. I took over Treasure Hunt as my first major project and acted as Product Owner. Treasure Hunt was a second-chance lottery game with a passionate player base. The largest challenge involved catering to a wide range of browsers including ancient versions of Internet Explorer.
Working with an artist and QA member, we created a game which utilised a “swipe” feature, as seen in popular smartphone applications, to select matching words using certain criteria.
Working as part of a large team on the award winning game “Village Life”, I worked in many areas of gameplay and technical programming. I joined the team as the game was expanding to create ambitious updates such as new playable areas, and social features and support the live game.
